Amphion is seeking full-time and part-time professionals to abstract, collect and transmit data for AMI, CHF, and PNE following the specifications of TJC and CMS. Analyze and track data to ensure consistent quality compliance with all core measure indicators. Identify opportunities for quality improvement and efficient managed care. Lead process improvement through sharing and implementation of ideas. Provide consultation and prepare and present physician reports to our clients regarding data findings. Provide staff education relating to externally reported measurements.

Seeking credentialed professional (medical coding or nursing) with:

  • At least 2 years recent core measure abstracting experience
  • Proven experience in health care quality measure specification development activities
  • Knowledge of the national agenda for quality
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, facilitation, teaching and project management skills
  • Technical development skills including understanding of data collection tools and data transmissions to third-party agencies
  • PC proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet and data base software
  • Knowledge of the national agenda for quality
