Minnette is a nationally recognized expert in the field of coding, and casemix analysis. Prior to joining Amphion, Minnette served as Vice President Health Information Management for Hospital Corporation of America. Minnette has also served as the Director of the Central Office on ICD-9-CM at the American Hospital Association and was one of twelve charter members invited to serve on the Editorial Advisory Board for Coding Clinic when it was introduced by the American Hospital Association in 1984. She served as a member of the Board for seven years. During that time she also served as a faculty member for all AHA coding teleconferences.
Minnette is a member of the American Health Information Management Association, and the Wisconsin Health Information Management Association. She is the 2001 recipient of the AHIMA Triumph Achievement Award in recognition of developing coding compliance and casemix analysis software. She is also a past president of the Illinois Health Information Management Association and a recipient of the Distinguished Member Award from ILHIMA.

Kim Harrison, RHIA
Senior Education Consultant
Kim has over a decade of experience in the HIM profession and is a seasoned coding professional. As an AHIMA Approved ICD-10-CM/PCS trainer, she is extensively involved in the continuous development of Amphion’s ICD-10 training program. In addition, Kim is a coding consultant for Amphion performing coding audits and working directly with our clients’ coding and clinical documentation staff, providing them with expert knowledge to fulfill their individual facility’s needs. Kim graduated summa cum laude from Louisiana Tech University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Information Management.
Alisa Engel, RHIT, CPC-H
Education Consultant
Alisa has over 20 years of extensive experience in health information management within various multi-faceted hospital centers including acute, long term, and ambulatory care. In her various roles, from coding to director and consultant, Alisa has educated and motivated HIM employees and students regarding correct coding, quality improvement, HIM software applications and Joint Commission requirements. Her unique ability to understand and teach at multiple levels is an asset she applied while training physicians in the usage of clinical electronic medical records, dictation equipment, and high-level, accurate clinical documentation. In addition to being an AHIMA Approved ICD-10-CM/PCS trainer, Alisa is involved with continuously improving Amphion’s expert medical coding library, developed to increase coders’ comprehension of our modern classification system.
