For over 20 years, Jane’s “golden rule” style of management and down-home enthusiasm has spanned the HIM field with her multi-functional responsibilities including health information management in both the acute care and home health settings, human resource management, training, customer service, quality improvement, employee communications, and recruitment/retention.
Jane moved from her role as Branch Manager for OmniMed Transcription into a human resources role where she developed a knack for creativity when it comes to managing the “invisible employee.” She continues to manage Amphion’s home-based talented staff of 500+ where she drives Amphion’s recruitment and retention successes.
An employee advocate and public speaker nationally and locally on employee motivation and recognition, Jane has worked out of her Texas-based virtual office for 10+ years. She is an active member of the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) and the Wisconsin Health Information Management Association (WHIMA). She has served WHIMA many years as a Board Member and committee member. She was the recipient of the 1999 WHIMA Motivator/Educator Award.
